Taylor Swift To Headline Bitcoin 2024 'Sound Money Fest' In Hometown Nashville
The Sound Money music festival is returning to Bitcoin's seminal conference this July in Nashville, TN and this year's headliner will be one for the history books. Taylor Swift, the biggest recording artist in the world, is joining forces with the fastest growing money in the world in Swift's hometown of Nashville to close out Bitcoin 2024.
Sound Money music festival was a big hit with conference attendees in 2022 but was on hiatus in 2023, after a long brutal bear market. However, with the Bitcoin price surging in the last year and the upcoming April halving, the Bitcoin price is anticipated to be at or above all time highs by conference time in July. This has conference organizers expecting high demand for tickets and planning with bull market budgets in mind.
We can only speculate as of now but attendance for Bitcoin 2024 is expected to explode compared to previous years. About 30,000 people attended at least one day at the Miami Beach convention center in 2022, the largest Bitcoin conference to date. However, with the announcement of Taylor Swift playing a concert at this year's event, some predict demand to be in the six figures. "Our goal is for Bitcoin to be at $100,000 and tickets sold to be roughly the same amount." Said Bitcoin Magazine CEO David Bailey.
Some conference goers are concerned the conference will be taken over by passionate Taylor Swift fans known as "Swifties." The Bugle spoke with a rep from Bitcoin magazine who told us he is excited for the event and the buzz it will generate but admitted, "If you thought the shitcoining was bad in 2021 and 2022 or you hated the wizards and politicians in 2023, I have a feeling you'll long for those days of old when 75,000 Taylor Swift fans descend upon Nashville this summer."
