Taproot Wizard Party Shut Down After Pledditor Tipped Off Nashville Police

Nashville, Tennessee – A massive Bitcoin Conference afterparty was shut down early by the Nashville Fire Marshal on Friday night after police received a phone tip from independent journalist who goes by Pledditor on X (Formerly Twitter).

The non-compliant party, organized by a group called Taproot Wizards, took place Friday night after the first day of Bitcoin Nashville, a conference held in the Nashville Music City Center which featured former President Donald Trump among many other celebrities. Pictures and videos from the party began surfacing on social media Friday night. Pledditor noticed them and used them as evidence that the party was out of local compliance laws before making a phone call to the Nashville police department in an effort to have the party shut the party down.

A source from the Nashville police department told The Bugle that the caller, who identified himself to police as 'Pledditor', said there was a large group of blockchain spammers, shitcoiners, and illegal security traders violating the law at an address he claimed to have triangulated using methods popularized on TikTok from video available on social media. When police and fire officials arrived at the location, they were forced to shut it down due to fire code violations.

The source says that in addition to reporting the party, Pledditor informed police that he has SEC chairman Gary Gensler's personal cell number and email address which he uses to send reports about all illegal shitcoining he sees on social media. The source continued, "Pledditor went into great detail about all the cryptocurrency scams he's reported to (Gensler) and asked us if the police department would be interested in taking down some of these reports in case we wanted to arrest any local shitcoiners. We declined but thanked him for the actionable tip."

No party attendees were arrested or suspected of committing any crimes, including financial crimes.
